Jimmy Choo and UGG announced their collaboration early January and I’ve been waiting to see how the mash-up would turn out. Thanks to my friend (who follows a lot of celebs on Twitter, she will stay anonymous) that spotted Nicky Hilton’s tweet of the new Jimmy Choo x UGG, we now have the first look. I’m not really a big fan of UGGs but I have a lot of friends that are, and they are one of the reasons why many stores are kept open so you can’t deny the power or UGGs. How do you guys feel about the first look? Do you like? Would you buy? Per my first post, the two footwear labels will launch a five-piece collection in October based on the construction of Ugg’s sheepskin boots “with design details that embody the spirit of the Jimmy Choo brand,” the two companies said in a statement. Prices will range from $595 to $795 and the collection will be carried at select Jimmy Choo and Ugg Australia stores and the two labels’ online stores, as well as at certain department and specialty stores that carry Jimmy Choo. Hopefully, more photos will release soon…

that looks like a DIY project, not something I would expect from Jimmy Choo. Seriously, sew/glue on some fringe and beddazzle the stars. Even the stars look like something you'd find from a beddazzle kit.

i think ugg bailey's are cute. but these are fugg, short uggs are the worst.
Uggs are infamously unattractive already, but this design made an ugly thing even uglier!

I cannot imagine any reason on god's green earth as to why I (or, frankly, anyone with a modicum of taste) would pay that amount of money for a pair of sheepskin boots. Especially these. Someone needs their head examined.
Just to make everyone feel a little bit better, I am a handbag buyer for a department store and my colleague (a footwear buyer) showed me the collection and the style pictured above is by far the worst of the five. There are 2 styles that are fantastic, 2 that are questionable and then obviously the eye sore above!
