I’ve been blogging about the Mulberry for Target collection forever now and they’ve had a pre-sale on Gilt.com back in August. If you missed out no worries, the collection is officially launching tomorrow, October 10th! The limited edition handbag collection will be available at select Target stores nationwide and at Target.com October 10 through December 24, 2010. If I were you, I’d order the handbags online quick…def won’t be available for a long time and I never have any luck with finding anything at the Target stores! The Mulberry for Target collection features signature Mulberry silhouettes in bold prints and interesting textures including denim, pink leopard print, black velvet and patent. The vibrant assortment includes totes, satchels, cross-body bags and mini messenger styles and ranges in price from $14.99 to $49.99. Are you going to buy any of the handbags? If yes which one? Shop on! More handbags from the collection after the jump…
Satchel in Black Patent, $34.99

The Target I work at already put our bags out like 2 days ago. They’re really cute in person.
ITS AVAILABLE!
They are SOLD OUT ONLINE ALREADY.
sad!
Oh, my mistake! Just added the large black patent satchel to my shopping bag ! ^^ Debating whether I should get the blue one too…
Small but fun collection.
I went to Target and saw it in person. It was the cheapest ugliest crap I'd ever seen. You would have to pay me to wear that crap. SO DISAPPOINTED.
I got the two I wanted, stayed up so late to get them! Turns out they released them a few days ago at the target by me (queens) and all the black ones were sold out when I went in yesterday.
My Target didn't stock all of the designs that released today.
Some designs that are available online will only be in stores November 14th…
I got 3 of them last night…can't wait for them to arrive!!!!
DDD
O MY GOODNESS!!:DDD I got two of them today, including the big leopard print one and I don't think it's going to look tacky. The whole patent thing is in right now and with a dark outfit, it'll be a perfect pop of color:)
Love <33333 the bags!
I saw them in person at my local Target store and did not buy even one of them! The "Mulberry For Target" metal stamp is so obnoxious, IMO it makes the bag look so cheap and hideous. At least put "For Target" in much smaller letters! Come on, Target is not high end, unless you WANT to be Queen of the Trailer Park!
If I don't like it I'll return it
IT's all sold out online. My friend was able to snatch the mini pebble cross body for me. To me, I think that's the only one I really wanted. I'm not a big fan of patent leather.. and since it's faux leather that's used to make these bags, the teeniest one would appear to be the best looking. Oh and don't get me started on the leopard print.. Yikes.. Not me, but that' okay, I'm sure somone will be able to rock it out.
Happy Sunday! and Happy 10.10.10.
xx Love & Aloha
any chances those bags being leather?
on Gilt it said the bags were 'real patent leather' while Target says it's 'PVC'
conflicting information much?
They only ones left at my Target were the small crossover bags and one patent satchel. It's probably me but I thought they were cheaply constructed and small? Like, super small!
the teeny is pretty tiny, i saw the mini cross body and it looks like a child's play purse. i have no issues with the "target" on the logo, i adore my gryson for target bag and it's shiny plasticy and has target on the logo all big. if i really want a mulberry, i'd shell out for it… i'm on the west coast so i just order the bags and midnite and return what i don't like, i don't like being rushed in-store.
I was set on buying the large black tote but it looks so cheap in person! Definitely not worth the $50 price tag.
thank god those ugly heart chains can come off. i agree with what the other person said – they all look so cheap. if mulberry's gonna do a line for target at least make it leather and still semi-affordable. yeesh!~
I got the cross body pink leopard one. It does loook a bit cheap but hey it's still cute!
I guess not everyone can be happy with Target collections. I have to agree with some of the ladies there, the "for Target" is printed really big…dunno why they had to do that…
Anyways, what's next for Target collections? lol
Of course these purses are plastic – it justifies the low price and how cheap they look! This Target collaberation was definitely a step down for Mulberry. And I agree, who wants to advertise for Target in big letters? So ghetto!
Obviously the bags are gonna be cheap, Mulberry could have done a collab with a more expensive brand and made the items more high quality but it would have stepped up the prices significantly, although I still would not mind paying up to $300 for a almost authentic bayswater (sorry 1,200 is too much for my college student budget, but maybe one day…) I bought the big pink patent satchel and I think its amazing, I wear a lot of black so its an awesome pop of color especially in the winter. people are complaining about the bags looking cheap but I think they have a lot of really great detailing, like the mulberry tree stamped onto the turn-lock and the keychain, and the adjustable sides. I do think the keychain is tacky and took it off the bag immediately but it is almost identical to the patent heart keychain on the Mulberry site (retails for $250!) I will be putting the keychain on my keys or on one of my canvas totes.
the black patent bag was soooo smallllll. dissapointed
Target letters were bit too big. Cheapens the brand quite a bit. I have Lela Rose from Payless, and it ONLY says Lela Rose on it, omit Payless.
Its how should be done. Other than that, they are bit stiff. I got the patent leather cross body one. Not bad.
I agree with the majority of folks here, overall this collection was a bust. I had three main issues: 1) The vast majority of the materials looked and felt cheap (ESPECIALLY that god awful pink stuff); 2) Most of the bags ran on the small size and a good number of those ran on the impractically small side (I think child's play purse was not at all an exageration). This just made the bag impractical for a girl like me who totes their life around with them in their handbag. 3) Damn you, Target, with your ego and your marketing team!! Those letters are obnoxious! And while I love the efforts that Target is making to bring high end fashion to a poor college kid like me, I would just as well my bag not be screaming the fact at the world. I was really taken by the large black satchel (and would have also been by the black patent if it had been larger and more practical).
Quick update: I ended up returning my patent leather cross body bag. Those "FOR TARGET" letters were beyond obnoxious and tacky.
OMG, They are all nice well I'm just want to know how can I get this collection ?
So what website can I order it directly ? ( I'm a new comer here and I really want these bags)
In e-bay their prices are much higher than normal (I think it's a normal thing right ?)
And Is this collection available in every Target stores ?
Thank you anyway
