This morning Converse and Chef Melia Marden invited a bunch of ladies to The Smile for breakfast for the launch of the Jack Purcell Helen Spring 2011 collection. The Helen shoe is named after badminton champ Jack Purcell’s wife, it’s a reissue of the original 1930’s silhouette that’s crafted from core canvas on a women’s specific last. A new silhouette inspired by and made specifically for women. Melia is the face of the campaign and was featured in a short film by Kid America. At the intimate event we got to mingle, eat and had first look at the new collection. I love cute little events like this, The Smile is super cute and I loved the breakfast there! Also, love the ad campaign, The Smile was simply perfect, you’ll see below. We all left with a full stomach and a cute gift bag with our own pair of Jack Purcell Helen shoes, can’t wait to wear them.
