Every year there are many speculations on who the next H&M holiday designer collaboration will be, this year is no difference. But it seems like all the rumors never come true, H&M does an amazing job keeping it a secret and surprising everyone. I’m dying to find out who the next designer will launch in November, this morning Vogue UK started a rumor (according to market sources) that Maison Martin Margiela is the next designer collaboration for H&M. And of course H&M spokesperson never comments on rumors so we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m a fan of MMM, so I would love to see the collaboration fruition. Do you like the idea of MMM for H&M? UPDATE 06.12.2012: It’s official, H&M and Maison Martin Margiela will be collaborating on a holiday collection. More details here.

It will be interesting to see how they make their styles available and appropriate for such a large market.

Basically what Brynn said. Not sure if the typical consumer would necessarily buy something like this…doesn't really have mass appeal (nor would they typical consumer have heard of Margiela).
