I personally really like the H&M Fashion Against AIDS collection, so excited to see the latest collection! “H&M is launching its fifth Fashion Against AIDS (FAA) collection, to raise funds and create awareness about HIV/AIDS among the young. Available in around 300 H&M Divided departments from April 26, 2012 as well as online (where available), this year’s collection brings together ethnic influences from different continents.” Great collection and a great cause, 25% of all sales will go directly to a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. Can’t wait till the weather gets warmer and get my hands on some of these pieces! Do you like?
Sorry for the lack of posts, I’ve been running around non-stop since I got back from LA yesterday. Earlier this month, Levi’s hosted their Spring 2012 press preview at Stage 37 in New York. Levi’s always takes it up a notch with their press previews, their setup is always so amazing. Taking on the feel of a romantic, spring night, the event showcased key men’s and women’s spring looks in a static presentation. The presentation featured live models wearing key products for Spring including: Levi’s Curve ID, Dresses and Feminine Crafted for women and Commuter, Taper, and Tailored for men. There was also a water fountain installation made out of 150 pairs of Water<Less denim. This Spring, Levi’s will expand Levi’s Curve ID, to include new fits, fabrications and finishes. Included in the Spring 2012 Levi’s Curve ID collection is the new ankle skinny offered in a fresh bouquet of colors just in time for Spring. The are also lots of cute women’s dresses too!
Oh yes I looked very tired on the day I met Christopher Kane at his J Brand Resort 2012 collection breakfast event at Barneys New York. I mean it was at 8:30am but I was glad I made it and met Christopher Kane, he is sooo nice and funny. All the press got a sneak peek at the genes@CO-OP cafe which opened to the public after we left, we all sat for a Q&A with J Brand founder Jeff Rudes and Christopher Kane. I love the Resort 2012 collection, amazing fits with vivid neons, who can say no? I’m obsessed! The Christopher Kane x J Brand collection includes original jean fits and denim jackets in bold neon colors, crisp black and white, and vintage medium and dark denim washes. Despite the icky weather last night, I had an amazing time at the G-Star Women’s Night private event at their Soho store. G-Star celebrated the event with five featured bloggers and yours truly was one of them, I picked out a couple of pieces from the brand’s Fall 2011 collection for an outfit. We all got to get our makeup done by Bobbi Brown artists, hair touch ups by Warren Tricomi and “Skinny Jeans” Salon Effects manicures by Sally Hansen. It was a fun girl’s night out, loved it!
