Back in July I posted a sneak peek of the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2012 sneakers, now here’s the lookbook (via Freshness) and product pics (courtesy of adidas Originals)! How cute does Charlotte Free look in this lookbook, love her! According to the press release “the collection pays tribute to American pop culture and brings a little jungle flavor to the urban scene and dresses the now ubiquitous wings in stars and stripes.” The collection is slated to release in February but some of the products are available for pre-order at luisaviaroma.com already. As always funky and cray, loves it!
Just spotted these crazy Hello Kitty x UBIQ Mascot Fatima kicks on Sneaker News (via Dunk) and I think I may need a pair! These totally remind me of the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Teddy Bear / Panda kicks which I love as you know. Not sure of the release date or price yet but when I know I’ll update this post. Do you like? I’m sure all the Hello Kitty fans would want these! Kinda cute in a weird way haha…
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and happy new year again! I’m still kinda on vacation mode so please bear with me as I slowly get back into blogging mode lol. Anyway, did you guys get everything you wanted on your wishlist for Christmas? Well, I kinda did! I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the Isabel Marant hi-top sneakers since last season but didn’t want to fork out $800+ for them. I finally got them for Christmas, so happy. There are more colorways then what is pictured here! Alicia Keys is the latest celeb to rock the Willow, she looked so cute with her family (see pic below). I have the same pair as Alicia, I’ll be posting my pics later on. If you missed out on the previous versions of these amazing kicks, Isabel Marant’s hidden heel sneaker is back for Resort 2012 in various colorways and styles! The Willow (the ones with the big tongue) retails for $760, Bobby (suede) and Betty (leather) both retails for $680. Super comfy, fun and perfect for traveling too! Do you like? Which is your favorite? Isabel Marant
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, I’m still on “vacation mode” lol, so posts will be sporadic! I know there are lots of Hello Kitty fans that read my blog and I just got this in my email, perhaps you’ll dig it. This new collaboration from Hello Kitty and Pastry might be a good present for those that still didn’t get a gift for their gurl, sister, friend, etc for Christmas or whatever. The shoe is very limited and was actually made for the European market but lovepastry.com got a small quantity just for their fans. Price is $100, all three colorways are currently available at lovepastry.com. Do you like?
I love SUNO’s prints and their collaboration with Loeffler Randall, now they’re tempting me with these super cute sneakers that they just launched for the holiday season! For $65, you can buy a cute pair of SUNO Sneakers in seasonal signature prints and also help the David Shedrick Wildlife Trust, a Kenyan orphanage for baby elephants and rhinos. For every pair of shoes purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the charity. There are two styles: slip-on and lace-up in women’s sizes 5-11, the sneakers are available now exclusively at sunony.com. Cute right?
While I was out at PROJECT LV back in August, I stopped by Reebok‘s booth to check out the new collection and found myself quite drawn to the Classic Chi-Kaze. I’m a fan of high top sneakers and also love the pop of colors in the new shoe. Pronounced “she-kaze,” the Classic Chi-Kaze is the woman’s answer to the hugely popular Kamikaze III launched by Swizz Beatz and Reebok Classics this year. The Classic Chi-Kaze has the same visual cues as the Kamikaze – visible Hexalite sole as well as the zigzag detailing on the upper – but with a decidedly feminine style. The leather/mesh Classic Chi-Kaze has a clean, streamlined look, featuring an exaggerated high top silhouette with double Velcro straps plus contrasting neon pops of color. Colorways include: Black/Overtly Pink/Blaze Yellow/White (primary colorway) as well as Steel/Flat Grey/Sonic Green/Black. The kicks are slated to launch December 2011 at Journeys stores and www.journeys.com for $90.
If you are a big fan of Hello Kitty, good news is now you can workout in Hello Kitty gear. Sanrio teamed up with ASICS this holiday to launch a “Run with Hello Kitty” collection fitting you with a head-to-toe look. Classic Hello Kitty designs serve as the graphic base for a running shoe as well as technical running apparel and accessories, including a hooded jacket, tank, capri pants, short sleeve tee, hat and arm warmers. You can choose between the pink or blue colorways. The collection is exclusively available at select Sanrio stores and Sanrio.com. |
