I’ve been wandering around PROJECT checking out new collections for the whole day today so posts are slow, please bear with me. But here’s a quick post before I continue visiting brands. Last night I attended the Reebok Classics ‘Reethym of Lite’ party at Moorea Beach Club at the Mandalay Bay Hotel where Swizz Beatz was performing. At the end of the night he brought out Chris Brown to do his last song, Dance Like a White Girl. Check out the video I shot, I’ll be posting the recap in a few! Last year Lady Gaga launched her first Beats by Dre headphone line from Monster called Heartbeats, this year she’s back for round two! Designed by Lady Gaga herself, the in-ear headphones were inspired by leather and studs and feature the ultra-crisp sonic technology. The Heartbeats by Lady Gaga in-ear headphones are available in two colors (black and gold) and are available at participating retailers for a suggested retail price of $149. I have the first in-ear headphones Gaga designed last year and I love it, must get this new version too! UPDATE: To celebrate the launch of the new Heartbeats by Lady Gaga, Beats by Dr. Dre’s Facebook page is hosting a contest where Little Monsters can upload photos or videos themed around Lady Gaga’s latest hit single “Edge of Glory. The contest kicked-off yesterday and features prizes courtesy of Beats By Dr. Dre that include HP Envy computers, Heartbeats headphones, and valuable gift cards from top retailers. The highly anticipated Virgin Mobile FreeFest has finally released their concert date for this year, mark your calendars for September 10th! The lineup was announced by a special video featuring Richard Branson and Virgin Mobile Live fans and the concert will be taking place at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Are you guys excited? Since Virgin Mobile picks up the cost of tickets, they ask that everyone donate $10 or their time to volunteer for RE*Generation. People who volunteer at the Festival are “FreeIPs” and automatically receive a ticket, a hard to come by commodity as tickets normally “free-out” within 30 minutes. If not, tickets go “On Free” Friday, July 15th at 10AM. Set your alarms early, and “LIKE” Virgin Mobile Live Facebook to get tickets! Good luck! Who’s looking forward to going to FreeFest? LOVE LOVE LOVE Prabal Gurung‘s Resort 2012 collection, and I love how he launched his first resort collection in a film featuring American rapper/dancer Rye Rye’s new music video called “New Thing.” The collection is fun, amazing! Check out the full collection after the jump…
Got busy this morning, hence the lack of posts! But I’m really excited about Gilt Groupe’s partnership with Streamline/Interscope Records and Lady Gaga taking place tomorrow, May 20th! To mark the release of Lady Gaga’s upcoming album ‘Born This Way’ (scheduled for release on May 23, 2011) the online event will commence at 12pm EST on both Gilt.com and GiltCity.com and will run through Sunday, May 22, 9pm EST. The sales will features 7 distinct offerings, including pre-orders on the album, two curated sales by her Fashion Director, Nicola Formichetti, a one-of-a-kind Mugler dress worn by Gaga herself and VIP access to special events and experiences surrounding the world of Gaga. Nicola Formichetti will be bringing Gilt members the opportunity to shop looks that he has curated and styled himself. The sales consists of looks for both women and men, which will be a mix of street punk and high couture, both aesthetics for which he is acclaimed. One of my favorite days…Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball 2011 at Newark, NJ!! I’ve been dying to see Gaga live and my dream finally came true, this is one of the perks of being part of the Virgin Mobile 25. There were a lot of little monsters dressed up as Gaga, I loved that everyone was in the spirit. You can check out fan photos at Virgin Mobile’s Live FB page, there are lots of interesting looks. Gaga’s concert was beyond words, it was amazing. I loved her before the concert and I love her even more after, it’s great that she expresses how much she loves her little monsters. In honor of the concert, I wore my Lady Gaga x MAC Lipglass…I’ve been saving it haha. After the concert I got to meet Gaga backstage, she’s sooo cute! I was so happy to meet her again, we were both wearing leather moto jackets (just sayin’ haha). I brought YM with me, I can always count on him for great photos (photos below are shot by him and I, unless credited). Many thanks to Virgin Mobile, had a blast…definitely an unforgettable night!! By now I’m sure all of you guys have heard Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” song, some of you may like or dislike it and find it to be very similar to Madonna’s “Express Yourself” song. I’m not sure about you but I can’t deny this song is catchy and I do like it, perhaps I’m biased towards Gaga haha. And of course the video is amazing, see for yourself. And how amazing is Gaga’s body, seriously perfect for her height! Check out the video after the jump… |
