On Monday, I stopped by H&M’s showroom to play dress up and to shoot a video of the Lanvin for H&M collection which I’m sure you guys know I’m in love with. I simply can’t get enough of the the line, it’s so fab and I also wanted to see how the sizing fit so I can share with you guys. The collection runs pretty true to size, I’m usually a size 6 for tops/dresses and size 4 for outwear in H&M and that’s what I wore. Many thanks to Jennifer Ward (H&M) for walking me through the collection and playing dress up with me, it was fun! Jennifer wore a black ruffly dress ($149) and red lipstick ($9.95). I’m wearing a black puff long sleeve dress in size 6 ($99), necklace ($29.95), belt ($19.95) and red lipstick (9.95). Please bear with me as I’m pretty new at making videos, so I may seem a bit nervous haha. I’m camera shy, hope it’s not too bad since it was all taken in one shot! There’s more pieces that I wore but I’ll save that for another post I’ll be attending the Lanvin for H&M ‘Haute Couture’ Fashion Show tonight, the event will be followed by a pop-up store salon where guests will have a chance to shop the collection before the launch on November 20th (How To Shop)! Super excited! For the full collection preview + prices, click here. MORE PICS AND VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP…
Teaser images of Rihanna’s new music video “Rude Boy” has released, the mv is slated to release on Thursday, February 11th on Vevo. The mv was directed by Melina Matsoukas and according to AceShowBiz the video is promised to be different than other videos previously made by Rihanna. Can’t wait to see the new vid, she’s looking fierce on the zebra in a black/white catsuit and also the LaQuan Smith gold catsuit looks fierce on her too (remember you’ve first seen it here?).

Scheduled post…always fun to see what celebs wear to events and award ceremonies. Check out these photos of Rihanna, Ke$ha, Kelly Rowland, Dita Von Teese, Black Eyed Peas and Pharrell Williams of what they wore to the NRJ Music Awards 2010 at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France on Saturday, January 23rd. Big congrats to Rihanna on the International Female Artist of the Year win! Wish Lady Gaga was there! I wasn’t really a big fan of all the outfits. Do you like the outfits? Haiti is still in need of help, there’s not much I can do besides donating what I can but I can continue to help spread the word on how to help. Last night was the Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief telethon organized by George Clooney, celebrities gathered in Los Angeles, New York and London to answer phone calls from donors and to perform musical tributes to earthquake victims in Haiti. If you didn’t get a chance to tune in, here’s a recap with performances by Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bono, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Matt Morris, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Sting, Shakira, Wyclef Jean and many more. Hope they raised a ton of money!
Rihanna is looking hot on the cover of W Magazine’s February 2010 issue. The photos were shot by Craig McDean and styled by Lori Goldstein, on the cover Rihanna wears a white cotton Gucci dress, Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry’s 18k white gold, black spinel and diamond earrings ($68,500), Dior Fine Jewelry’s 18k white gold and diamond ring ($38,000) and Chanel Fine Jewelry’s 18k white gold, black ceramic and diamond cuff ($36,000). Seems like Rihanna is off to a good start in 2010, she’s got a new man, Los Angeles Dodgers Matt Kemp, and she released her fourth album, Rated R, late last year. You can read her interview over at W. Let’s not talk about the past (ahem, Chris Brown) and move on to the present, and of course her fashion and music. Love her, keep doing your thing Rih Rih!
