Can you believe Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is here already? I can’t! Time seriously is passing super fast, especially when it’s good times. I am so happy to announce that I am one of Diet Pepsi‘s fashion week correspondent this season! Diet Pepsi is back as an official sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to refresh consumers by providing fun and uplifting moments throughout the week. I’ll be covering daily happenings, runway shows/presentations and behind-the-scenes content as well, so be sure to follow me here (twitter: @nitrolicious & instagram: @nitro_licious). I’ll be attending the Diet Pepsi sponsored refreshing runway experience on Thursday, curated by fashion commentator Simon Doonan and presented on a set designed by Jonathan Adler. The Diet Pepsi Style Studio fashion show will feature a collection of original looks by four regional designers: Project Runway alum and Dallas-based Shirin Askari; Denver, Colorado’s Rachel Hurst of Rae Marie; Genoveva Christoff from Columbus, OH and Elise Bergman from Chicago, IL. And also Christian Cota created a Diet Pepsi-inspired capsule collection that will be on display at the DP Style Studio in the Grand Lobby of Lincoln Center, check it out. Lots of fun ‘refreshing moments’ to come! Disclosure: In accordance with the FTC Guidelines, I am disclosing that I am being compensated for being Diet Pepi’s fashion week correspondent from February 9-11, however, the content and thoughts shared about Diet Pepsi are my own.
I was recently introduced to ThreadSence.com and I’ve been browsing through it since. Last night I spent a good amount of time browsing through pages of products, there’s a lot of stuff I want to buy! There’s some brands available but most are indie-urban fashion which are affordable and cute. IHave you shopped ThreadSence.com? L-R: Jet Jumpsuit by Motel Rocks ($86), “Jax” Boots by Dolce Vita ($178), Sorry I Mustache Two-Finger Ring ($13)
I personally really like the H&M Fashion Against AIDS collection, so excited to see the latest collection! “H&M is launching its fifth Fashion Against AIDS (FAA) collection, to raise funds and create awareness about HIV/AIDS among the young. Available in around 300 H&M Divided departments from April 26, 2012 as well as online (where available), this year’s collection brings together ethnic influences from different continents.” Great collection and a great cause, 25% of all sales will go directly to a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. Can’t wait till the weather gets warmer and get my hands on some of these pieces! Do you like?
Back in July, UNIQLO announced the new collaborative project with UNDERCOVER by Jun Takahashi which is slated to release this Spring. For those of you (me included) that are anticipating to see what the collection would look like, here’s a look at the campaign. Quirky campaign, I like! The UU collection is made for everyone and will be debuting in 11 countries on March 16th. I can’t wait to see the full lookbook.
For those that have been anticipating the release of the Jason Wu for Target collection, it is finally releasing today! At this time (1:12AM EST) there are only a few items available but I think Target.com is slowly adding more so keep refreshing (that’s what I’m doing). Shop online quick before everything sells out! Check out the Jason Wu for Target lookbook here. Drop me a line and tell me what you got. Happy shopping!
Last night you’ve got a sneak peek of the Marni at H&M ad campaign featuring Imogen Poots and some magazine scans, now here’s a look at the commercial and behind-the-scenes video. As I reported before the campaign film was directed by Sofia Coppola in Marrakesh, in these video watch the commercial and you follow her and H&M along with the models behind-the-scenes during the production. Models and actors include: Imogen Poots, Sam Hayes, Antonine Peduzzi, Nicolas Peduzzi, Annabelle Dexter Jones, Charlie Klarsfeld , Liu Wen, Jonatan Frenck and Langley Fox. Looks like fun, love it! The collection is looking good, can’t wait to see the full collection! Marni at H&M is scheduled to release in selected H&M stores and online (where available) on March 8th, except in Japan and Singapore where the collection launch is scheduled for March 10th, 2012. |
