French actress, singer and model Josephine de La Baume is featured in the latest H&M video featuring her key summer looks. It was all about mixing and matching for her this season. “I love renewing my summer wardrobe at H&M. I’m always more interested in pieces that tell a story, which I can put together to create my own personal look. I’m usually a tomboy, but in summer I’m reborn a woman, and always go for dresses and flowery prints. My favourite accessory of the season is the straw hat, very French, very 50s, and perfect for right now,” says Josephine. Last week I was invited by Cadillac for the Cadillac Met Gala Recovery Brunch with fashion stylist Erin Walsh. We had a fun lunch and watched an exclusive video featuring Greta Gerwig and Erin Walsh for the launch of “Style Driven,” a four-part video vignette offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the life of fashion stylist Erin Walsh, as she curates outfits for guests attending the famous Costume Institute Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year, Walsh styles actress Greta Gerwig for the Met Gala. The video series follows Walsh as she makes her way through New York City in a Cadillac SRX picking dresses and jewelry for Gerwig. Throughout the series, Walsh offers insights into her process, the importance of the Met Gala and how Cadillac helps her make everything possible. I agree that having a car makes a big difference when you’re running from one appointment to another, I definitely enjoyed having Cadillac escort me around during NYFW. This past weekend I was in Miami for Lil Wayne’s kick-off party for his new footwear company, SPECTRE by SUPRA. At the event BJ Betts was giving free tattoos to guests and at the end of the night Lil Wayne tatted BJ Betts with his signature. The event was packed with friends and guests to celebrate the award-winning artist’s latest footwear venture. Some of the guests included Bun B, skaters Chaz Ortiz, Stevie Williams and Chad Muska, etc. Lil Wayne showed up rockin’ his new Chimera mid top, the first shoe from SPECTRE by SUPRA (release date May 18th). To top off an evening of unexpected moments Lil Wayne announced that Chaz Ortiz would be riding for SPECTRE. Fun times!
Mother’s Day is next Sunday, May 12th, and to celebrate this big day, Sunglass Hut launched a new campaign featuring Georgia May Jagger, Global Brand Ambassador, and her supermodel mom Jerry Hall for its 2013 Mother’s Day campaign. The campaign was shot by photographer Matt Irwin in Los Angeles. Super cute, if you haven’t gotten a gift for your mom yet, perhaps a pair of luxury sunglasses will do!

On the heels of launching the Beyoncé for H&M Summer 2013 ad campaign, new behind-the-scenes photos of Gisele Bundchen surface for their Fall/Winter 2013 ad campaign. The campaign was shot on the streets of London, but no actual images of the campaign were released yet. Can’t wait to see the full campaign, are you excited? |
