Seriously loving the new Converse x Comme des Garçons PLAY collection featuring four new styles of the iconic Converse Pro Leather sneaker. I was never really a fan of the Pro Leather sneaker but this collaboration definitely changed my mind, can’t wait to get my hands on the hi-top styles, so good!!
The Comme des Garçons PLAY for Converse Pro Leather is available in Milk and Black Mid and Ox silhouettes. All styles will be available on Dover Street Market’s website and at the Comme des Garçons NYC store starting May 28, in Paris and London starting June 1 and at Comme des Garçons stores in Tokyo and throughout Asia starting June 21 for a suggested retail price of $130-140.
This past weekend I was in Miami for Lil Wayne’s kick-off party for his new footwear company, SPECTRE by SUPRA. At the event BJ Betts was giving free tattoos to guests and at the end of the night Lil Wayne tatted BJ Betts with his signature. The event was packed with friends and guests to celebrate the award-winning artist’s latest footwear venture. Some of the guests included Bun B, skaters Chaz Ortiz, Stevie Williams and Chad Muska, etc. Lil Wayne showed up rockin’ his new Chimera mid top, the first shoe from SPECTRE by SUPRA (release date May 18th). To top off an evening of unexpected moments Lil Wayne announced that Chaz Ortiz would be riding for SPECTRE. Fun times!
