Diesel Flash For Fun Collection

Diesel has always been creative especially with their denim collection, for fall/winter 2009 they launched a new exciting collection called Flash For Fun which features glow-in-the-dark jeans and T-shirts together with fluorescent trainers and underwear. The collection, developed by the Diesel creative team headed by Creative Director Wilbert Das, has been conceived for those who play hard day and night, 24 hours non-stop, without taking the time to change in between. A special fluorescent coating, devised to be glaring under UV lights, is layered on denim and cotton. Through this treatment, Flash For Fun pieces are discreet during the day and reveal extremely bright details and stitches at night, presumably at clubs. On denim, hidden graphics are revealed under black lights. Graphics are visible when exposed to darkness thanks to UV lights. Stitches and back patches appear on denim when it’s dark (so go party in them!) together with the distinctive Diesel pocket stripe, presented in a dedicated acid color version.

Next Tuesday, Diesel is hosting a party to celebrate the Flash For Fun collection, this is the perfect time to rock ‘em glow-in-the-dark jeans! Fun, fun fun, love it!

Mark Ronson x Gucci Icon Temporary Womens Sneakers

Yesterday you’ve seen a preview of the Mark Ronson x Gucci Icon-Temporary sneakers, here’s a preview of the two women’s styles. The women’s styles are both gold stylized with the iconic Gucci red and green web detail, I like the style with the star cut-outs. The sneakers also includes silver or gold metal dog tags as well as embroidered ‘Limited Edition’ label inscribed inside the shoe. You can also get your initials embossed onto a customized leather tag on the shoe laces. Icon-Temporary sneakers are priced from $500 to $1,400, and Gucci Ronson shoes, $500 to $600. Do you like these luxe sneakers?

In August news released that Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, collaborated with Mark Ronson on the design of Gucci Ronson sneakers for their new Gucci Icon-Temporary store, here’s a detailed look at two pairs and additional info.

The Gucci Icon-Temporary store is a flash sneaker store that will travel the world starting this month and a new limited edition Gucci Ronson sneaker will be introduced at each international destination of the tour, in addition to an exclusive edition of 18 sneaker styles in the Gucci – Icon-Temporary sneaker collection. The collection consists of 16 men’s styles and 2 women’s styles, incorporating into classic Gucci design signatures, each design includes silver or gold metal dog tags as well as embroidered ‘Limited Edition’ label inscribed inside the shoe. You can also get your initials embossed onto a customized leather tag on the shoe laces. To top that off, each sneaker comes with unique packaging designed specifically for each city on the international tour, the limited edition Gucci Ronson sneaker will also have its own exclusive packaging. Icon-Temporary sneakers are priced from $500 to $1,400, and Gucci Ronson shoes, $500 to $600.

The first store will debut at Crosby Street in NYC, opened to the public on October 24th and remain open for just two weeks. In December, the store will move from New York to Miami’s Design District, coinciding with Art Basel Miami Beach and Design/Miami, and in 2010, to London and Tokyo.

I wonder how the two women’s styles will look, looking forward to seeing them and the Gucci Icon-Temporary store!

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Spring 2010 [Detailed Pics]

On Monday, you’ve got a sneak peek of the Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals by Originals Spring 2010 collection, here’s a detailed preview from Hypbeast. According to HB, “the spring/summer 2010 range again includes re-interpretations on some of the most beloved adidas products as well as completely new designs for men and women. Inspired by rockstars, highlight pieces come with lots of rhinestones, fringes and prints.” As mentioned previously, the JS Wings continues to be the center of attention in the collection, this time in a hologram colorway. But all eyes on the Torero suit that Jeremy was rockin’ himself, it’s “a remake of the iconic Superstar track top mixed with influences of traditional matador bullfighting jackets. The suit comes with hand-sewn sequins, tassels and an embroidered tonal oversized Trefoil on the back.” DOPE, hope the Torero suit comes in small sizes, I’d totally rock it! Can’t wait to see more images from the collection.
