EN|NOIR has garnered a huge celebrity following and the brand has only been around for less than a year. The biggest trendsetters in the industry are seen rockin’ EN|NOIR leather sweatpants, think Kayne West, Beyonce, A$AP ROCKY, Big Sean, Drake and more. During NYFW, EN|NOIR showed, for the very first time, at Milk Studios its Fall/Winter 2013 collection. Although it’s all menswear, well I consider it pretty much unisex, I’m completely obsessed with the “monochromatic minimalism” collection. I’m sure you guys know how much I like black clothing and on top of it, it’s mostly leather!
I met EN|NOIR designer Rob Garcia, during NYFW and told him how much I loved the brand. It’s the perfect fusion of high and low, luxurious streetwear staples that I can totally see myself rockin’ most of the pieces or dress my boyfriend in. Their Fall/Winter 2013 was incredible, mostly all black leather with bright electric blues injected in. The presentation and lookbook was styled by my friend Matthew Henson. Definitely one of the hottest brands around. Do you agree?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen never seems to disappoint, at least in my eyes, for Fall 2013 the hosted a presentation for Elizabeth and James at the rooftop at Hotel Americano. Not only were the Olsen twins there but Elizabeth was also there supporting her sisters. I was so happy to see them, it’s always exciting for me.
As usual the collection is amazing, the styling was by Catherine Newell-Hanson, I found myself pointing to every piece and wanting it right now. Perfect for the weather now right? My favorite look is the look pictured above, the Lena Jacket in black coated cotton is everything paired with the Diamond Maise Dress, Kacey black lamb leather pant, Terri Boot and Sling bag! Need all the pieces! All the pieces are nicely tailored, minimal and wearable. I so want the leather overalls too! More photos after the jump…
Every season I look forward to Moncler Grenoble‘s presentation because they always have the best showcase, this season is no different. As I stepped into a dark room in Gotham Hall, I wasn’t sure what to expect since it was pitch black. As the guests pack the room, the music queues in and spotlights shine on specific looks and you can hear everyone in awe. As the light brightens the entire room for a few seconds in rotation I can see the 370 models standing still, all lined up in different shades of greens, reminiscent of a forest. It was simply breathtaking.
On Chinese New Year I celebrated the New Year with Vivienne Tam as she showed her Fall 2013 runway show that day. Her new collection is about cultural dialogue, change and awakenings. Vivienne says she was inspired by the conceptual underpinnings of the punk movement and the premise of Pop art. Models strolled down the runway in vibrant hues of red, white and black with pops of electric blue accents and graffiti prints of Mao’s writings and other mantras. Love the military and houndstooth looks. Definitely need the army green parka, so good!
I love Vivienne, her collection is always a great fusion of East meets West. Check out the collection after the jump…
I’m so happy that Style Coalition had a lounge up at the Empire Hotel during NYFW, it was perfect for in between shows and for refueling and most importantly recharging my gadgets. I was also able to get touch-ups by Covergirl and get some work done on the HP Envy x2 laptops at times when I didn’t bring mine. Super convenient.
I absolutely love using my HP Envy x2, especially as a tablet. The super nice vivid 11.6-inch HD touch display with ultra-wide viewing angles is great for watching live stream fashion shows that I didn’t attend and for browsing the web. I’ve also loaded up my laptop with lots of music to keep me company when I’m on-the-go, the laptop features Beats Audio so the sound is superb. Can’t believe this week has passed by so fast, fashion week is almost over…
