Note: Sorry about the horrible audio, it got even worst after I’ve uploaded it on YouTube but I try to get it fixed so you guys can hear what they’re saying haha. I’ll update this post when I get a chance to get the audio fixed up a bit. At least you get to see them in action right? hahah

Finally had a chance to upload the video and pictures of Vanessa and Angela Simmons at Magic talking Pastry with nitro:licious. I actually wasn’t expecting to shoot a video, thanks to YM at Freshness for whipping out his digicam and filming my little chat with the brains behind the successful Pastry brand. The Simmons sisters were very down to earth and sweet, they took some time out of their busy schedule to update nitro:licious readers about Pastry and showed off their new collection. Lots of new kicks, handbags and clothing will be released – check out the exclusive sneak peek of their new kicks and handbags. Also check out what Vanessa is rocking, they’re all from the Pastry Clothing collection, cute huh? Stay tuned for more Pastry updates…

Camp Beverly Hills Trip Day #4: Magic
Day #4: Wednesday, February 13, 2008

Went to Magic again on Tuesday to do my last rounds at the Camp Beverly Hills booth and streetwear section. Above is a sneak peek at the CBH photo for the look book, I love that picture its so fun. After my first stop, I went to grab a bite then on to walking around the streetwear section, I swear I must of walked like 10 miles everyday its crazy how big this damn convention is. If I was to look at every single booth, I think I’d pass out its overwhelming. No wonder I’m beat everyday, when I get back to my hotel I don’t feel like moving anymore. But its definitely worth it, I get to see my friends and meet new people but best of all I have readers come up to me asking me if I’m nitro:licious, yeah! Always good to meet my readers, I truly appreciate you guys.

I also got to meet Vanessa and Angela Simmons at the Pastry booth, they showed me their new products and we had a great time chit chatting. More on that later…

Vanessa & Angela Simmons Whipping Up Pastry Apparel & Handbags

If you’re a regular on Run’s House you probably already know that Vanessa and Angela Simmons have been in the works of creating a Pastry apparel line. According to WWD, the girls are preparing for the launch of Pastry apparel today, which will hit stores such as Against All Odds, Mony, Jimmy Jazz and drjays.com on January 25th. Besides clothing they are also tapping into the handbag business, the handbags are meant to be matched with your kicks – expect colorful messenger bags, hobos, bowler bags and duffels.

“Everything that my sister and I do, we do it because we have fun,” Vanessa said. “We had always planned on expanding into a full lifestyle brand, and now was just the perfect time to get into apparel and handbags.”

The apparel collection includes a range of styles such as satin and spandex dresses, embroidered denim jeans, stretch charmeuse tops, French terry hoodies and pants and metallic mesh T-shirts. The line comes in a range of candy colors, such as bright pink, purple, blue and yellow.

“As we move into fall, we want to introduce some more sophisticated and edgy pieces like leather jackets and things like that,” Angela said.

The Pastry apparel line wholesales from $14 to $49, and the handbags wholesale from $13 to $45. Company executives expect first-year sales volume to reach $25 million in wholesale volume.

Their venture doesn’t end there, next up the sisters are working on jewelry and lingerie lines. Be prepared for a full line of Pastry soon…
