At least you get to see them in action right? hahah Finally had a chance to upload the video and pictures of Vanessa and Angela Simmons at Magic talking Pastry with nitro:licious. I actually wasn’t expecting to shoot a video, thanks to YM at Freshness for whipping out his digicam and filming my little chat with the brains behind the successful Pastry brand. The Simmons sisters were very down to earth and sweet, they took some time out of their busy schedule to update nitro:licious readers about Pastry and showed off their new collection. Lots of new kicks, handbags and clothing will be released – check out the exclusive sneak peek of their new kicks and handbags. Since the popularity grew for Pastry Kicks, the line has branched out to handbags and clothing. Went to Magic again on Tuesday to do my last rounds at the Camp Beverly Hills booth and streetwear section. Above is a sneak peek at the CBH photo for the look book, I love that picture its so fun. After my first stop, I went to grab a bite then on to walking around the streetwear section, I swear I must of walked like 10 miles everyday its crazy how big this damn convention is. If I was to look at every single booth, I think I’d pass out its overwhelming. No wonder I’m beat everyday, when I get back to my hotel I don’t feel like moving anymore. But its definitely worth it, I get to see my friends and meet new people but best of all I have readers come up to me asking me if I’m nitro:licious, yeah! Always good to meet my readers, I truly appreciate you guys. I also got to meet Vanessa and Angela Simmons at the Pastry booth, they showed me their new products and we had a great time chit chatting. If you’re a regular on Run’s House you probably already know that Vanessa and Angela Simmons have been in the works of creating a Pastry apparel line. According to WWD, the girls are preparing for the launch of Pastry apparel today, which will hit stores such as Against All Odds, Mony, Jimmy Jazz and drjays.com on January 25th. Besides clothing they are also tapping into the handbag business, the handbags are meant to be matched with your kicks – expect colorful messenger bags, hobos, bowler bags and duffels.
Their venture doesn’t end there, next up the sisters are working on jewelry and lingerie lines. Be prepared for a full line of Pastry soon… |
