Can’t believe the presidential election is tomorrow (Nov 4th) already, time really does fly. To commemorate the election, TOMS Shoes designed an election special edition. You can choose between Republican Vote TOMS, with the elephant printed canvas upper or the Democrat Vote TOMS, with the mule printed canvas upper. There is also Split Decision Vote TOMS pair consisting of a mismatched version available for those voters split on party lines. I’m always on a hunt for a cute pair of flats, besides sneakers I’m usually in flats most of the time. I wish I can walk around with 6″ heels all day but my feet will hate me in about an hour of time. Check out these cute Bloch Journal Flats, the shoe is draped with old newspaper writings in a decoupage finish with cracked leather upper and leather sole. Quite an interesting pair, do you like? I’ve been loving these Chanel ‘Miami Vice’ Gun Heels ever since they’ve debuted on the Chanel Cruise 2009 Collection runway show back in May- they’re so HOT. If we all had status like Madonna, we would be able to rock ‘em early if not they will be available for sale at Chanel boutiques next year. I def want a pair but just thinking of how much they will cost gives me a headache already. Madonna has also caused controversy while wearing these shoes, protesters say, “‘It is not fashion, it is not style, it is an advert glorifying guns and making them seem acceptable.” What do you think?

No worries, Target has released a budget-friendly pair of Mafia Black and White Knuckles Heels ($46.99) placed in the Halloween category which looks like they’ve got inspired by Chanel (or may be not). Regardless I bought a pair for the hell of it, I’ll shoot them when I get it. via Racked

Taylor Momsen aka Jenny Humphrey rockin’ the Nine West Cuzza and Zayit Boots

I have yet to start watching season 2 of Gossip Girl but I am still religiously following what the girls are rockin’ on and off camera. I’m waiting for more episodes to release before I start the marathon, it’s killin’ me a bit but I know it will be worth the wait! Don’t you all love Little J’s (Taylor Momsen) new do? She looks like a bad chick now, love the bangs and love the shoes that she rocked in the new episodes. She has been rockin’ the hell out of Nine West shoes, in a recent episode she was rockin’ the Cuzza Boots and last night’s episode one of my favorite pairs, the Zayit Boots! Cute!

With the success of the Chinese Laundry Strate Over-The-Knee Boots that got all the ladies going nuts searching for them after seeing it on Serena in Gossip Girl, they’ve launched a sister boot called Top. The Strate boots are long gone already and the Top boots being nearly sold out, Chinese Laundry released an extended version of the Top boot called Turbo. The Turbo boot has a 14″ circumference perfect for tucking in your skinny jeans and the major difference from the previous two versions is the 1 inch” sliver wedge heel. The Turbo boot is available in black and grey leather, chocolate, black and grey suede and retail at $129.

All three versions are very similar and perfect for fall, I own two pairs of Strate (black and brown suede) and two pairs of Top (grey suede and black leather)- I still get tons of compliments everytime I rock ‘em. Christian Louboutin Forever Tina Fringe Boot vs. Chinese Laundry Kipp Fringe Boot

Don’t we all wish we had unlimited funds to shop? In most cases we don’t, but shoes are an essential in a woman’s closet- there’s never enough. I’ve been eying the Christian Louboutin Forever Tina Fringe Boot ($1575) ever since Chanel Iman wore it, the shoes are gorgeous but the price tag is not so friendly. But Chinese Laundry released a similar pair called Kipp ($119) that is a fraction of the price which I find very much inspired by the Christian Louboutins, too bad they didn’t perfect how the fringe looks. Although it won’t be able to achieve the same look as the Louboutins it’s a great alternative especially for seasonal shoes like this. The Chinese Laundry Kipp Fringe Boot has a 3.5″ heel height and is available in black, dark brown and winter white. Do you like them?
