Didn’t get a chance to post the Lucky Shops 2009 VIP Shopping Party recap, been busy packing and getting ready for LA (there now!). Lucky Magazine invited me to my first Lucky Shops shopping experience this past Thursday, it was a bit overwhelming when I got there but after walking through it once I got the hang of it. There’s a lot of vendors there, great stuff for amazing prices at up to 75% off retail. I was so tempted to buy but am saving so held myself back, but my girl Simone bought an amazing Timeless by Naeem Khan for HSN Sequin Top for $150 which I’m envy of, seriously hotness! Last month we reported that Isaac Mizrahi will be designing a QVC collection debuting in December, WWD has a preview of what to expect with a first installment of holiday gifts. Today, Mizrahi will host a press preview of his collection showing everything from apparel to handbags to plates to cakes, which will range from about $32 to $300. Isaac Mizrahi Live will make its debut on December 4th. The collection includes apparel, bags, jewelry, shoes, housewares, baked goods, holiday gifts and more, be sure to tune into QVC on December 5th-7th for the release of the collection.

“If you feel passionate about something,” Mizrahi says, “they say, ‘Do it.’ Sometimes they cut 300 pieces and sometimes, three trillion.”

Payless has been stepping their shoe game up with designer collaborations, just wished they’d be more open to crazier designs that hit the designer’s runway. But I guess there’s only a small percentage of girls that would rock sky-high and outrageous heels, may be in the future. The new holiday 2009 Christian Siriano collection has already hit payless.com and it’s not bad at all. The collection consists of two pairs of flats, one peep-toe bootie, one pump and one strappy sandal all featuring a zipper detail, prices range from $29.99 to $49.99. Matching handbags were made to compliment the shoes but looks like the inventory hasn’t been updated yet, keep checking the site if you want them. I’m debating whether or not to get the black/gold Carolina Pump, kinda liking it. What do you guys think?
