A couple of days ago I got an IM from Laura Marie (DimePiece) about their Autumn/Winter 2009 lookbook and which model/artist they’ll be using (hint: signed by Bad Boy records, so it’s pretty obvious who…haha), I can’t wait to see the outcome and their new collection. Here’s a sneak peek at the behind-the-scenes as they finish up their collection, I’m already loving the grey/net hoodie, Barbie leggings and map leggings. Stay tuned!

OBEY Clothing is stepping up their game in the expanding world of streetwear, since their Spring 2009 collection I’ve been interested once again. They’ve upgraded with more cut & sew pieces and bloomed into a full line of contemporary clothing and accessories. As we know Shepard Fairey plays a big part in OBEY’s brand, for fall his photographs are printed on t-shirts and the insides of jackets. For Fall, there’s M65 Jackets, Leather Motorcycle Jackets, Vests, Oversized Tops, Blouses, Cardigans, Dresses, Graphic Tees and other cute stuff.

The Fall 2009 collection is slated to release in stores and online starting August at shop.obeyclothing.com, Karmaloop.com and 80sPurple.com.

First off congrats to my friends at CLOT for the opening of their new JUICE store at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. JUICE KL opened on June 20th, embarking on their expansion in the South East Asia region, the new store mainly carries brands that are synonymous with JUICE Hong Kong, CLOT apparel, Nike, adidas, OriginalFake by Kaws, HeadPorter & HeadPorter Plus, Medicom Toys, as well as limited and exclusive products.

The JUICE KL store, it infuses technology with timeless materials. The fully utilized lighting effects with LED lights create a futuristic ambiance. The usage of wood, steel, glass and corian creates an experience that satisfies all senses. Thus, it is assumed that the launching of JUICE KL not only brings the influence over the fashion trend, but also the lifestyle. The founders and the design team made a JUICE logo with more Malaysian elements in significance. The color of the logo is different from the JUICE HK one, the JUICE KL one is lightened up with colors on Malaysia National Flag, red and blue, which signifies belonging to Malaysia only.
