The much anticipated opening of the Nike Sportswear retail store at 21 Mercer Street in SoHo, New York City is just a few days away- Friday, August 22nd to be exact. The store will be offering exclusive access to premium products, an elevated retail experience, and a new customization experience called Nike Sportswear Bespoke, where consumers can work with Nike designers to customize premium Nike Sportswear footwear- it is globally exclusive to 21 Mercer and launches in Fall 2008 with the iconic Air Force 1 sneaker. The entire Nike Sportswear NSW collection will be available under one roof and includes seasonal exclusive 21 Mercer products.

The store will feature product exclusives including: The Flywire Windrunner, Air Max 90 Flywire and the 21 Mercer Nike LunaRacer. It will also offer limited quantities of other iconic Nike Sportswear product exclusives in footwear and apparel, including the made-to-order Air Force 1 Low Lux, a NSW collection Patchwork M65 jacket, as well as a Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer Tee collection.

It was just a few days ago at the Lacoste PF170 Dinner when Leah was telling me to lookout for her Married To The MOB Fall 2008 Collection- she said it’s going to be crazy. Now the collection has unveiled and it’s looking pretty dope, besides the usual tees and hoodies, there’s jackets, crewneck tops, leggings and a cap. The leggings and denim are looking extra saucy, as mentioned before the denim is available in various colorways- I’m hoping its the same for the leggings. Some of you may already know that ALIFE released the first ALIFE SESSIONS T-shirt series featuring John Mayer, Bun B and Q-Tip sold exclusively at ALIFE stores. Today is the big day for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, to commemorate the athlete competition and its commitment in sports- Nike Sportswear launched a dozen unique short term retail installations. These spaces are designed to give consumers a unique experience with the brand and to act as hubs for Nike in each respective city, mixing sports and the creative community. The pop-up stores remain open from 30 to 60 days and offer consumers a mix of Nike Sportswear product, in Paris, the store is located on a boat moored in the Quai Henry IV. In London, a 290-square meter (3,000 square feet) space has been selected in the area where athletes will compete in 2012. In Los Angeles, at The Montalbán, a historic theatre in Hollywood. These retail installations provide the world a sneak preview to the launch of the first stand-alone Nike Sportswear store at 21 Mercer Street in NY later this month, which launches with a special event on August 21st. Also, check out NikeSportswear.com as they’ve launched their online presence with new Nike iD product offerings, updated news, facts and local event notifications, expect Nike Sportswear products to launch online later this month.
