Last night my trusty tipster/reader lucy92 emailed over these iPhone pictures she took of the first look at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Target Designer Collaborations collection, thank you. I was waiting to see if anyone else would have a proper scan but no luck. At least we sorta have a “blurry” idea of what the collection will look like right? Jean Paul Gaultier for Target is slated to release on March 7, 2010 to April 11, 2010 in more than 250 stores nationwide and on target.com. Gaultier’s Designer Collaboration will have a tighter distribution than the last participant. Looks pretty good so far, I can’t wait to see more. Do you like what you’re seeing so far? Spotted, Natalie Portman rockin’ a yellow Rodarte for Target dress to the 9th Annual New York Times Arts And Leisure Weekend event. Do you like how she styled the dress with a short black blazer, belt, tights and ankle booties? Thanks to reader lucy92 for the tip. Full outfit pic after the jump…
For those that follow my Twitter, you already know that I went by to the Target at Queens Place last night after visiting my girl in Elmhurst. I hardly ever go in there unless I pass by and need to, its always packed and yesterday was no exception. Checked out the Rodarte section and it was looking fully stocked with racks and racks of nude dresses, black halter lace dresses and ribcage sequin dresses. If you’re looking for those particular pieces, def go there! Funny because all those dresses were sold out online already. No one was checking out the section except for me, I asked the sales associate if she saw the faux fur leopard jacket but she said she didn’t. She even asked me if the designer was popular because she had no clue who they were. There was only one size medium of the leopard dress left, one size medium of the shaggy cropped cardigan, a couple of the black/white leopard bowtie belts, and random pieces here and there. Check out the store if you want anything you see in these pics, you might have better luck than waiting for target.com to restock or returns. Also, check out my previous post here for tips on which store has what. Thanks to all the lovely readers that left a comment! Target @ Queens Place More pics after the jump… |
