So it’s been TOO long since I last posted. Seems like this blogging thing is a bit more challenging than I thought! Not necessarily difficult but definitely requires commitment and consistency. DUH! With that, Hope you all had a happy holiday and New Year! Obviously blogging more was one of my New Year’s resolutions but…. it’s already March – where the hell did first quarter go? Time seems to speed by and I’m eating its dust; confused and wondering why I can’t seem to catch up with everything. Anyways my first post of the new year features Miss. Wendy Lam – the fashion blog guru that put me on. She made a nice visit to LA so we got to hang, eat, talk fashion, shop, eat, exchange some pieces, and take some pics in between. Whenever the three of us (Lanie of Hellz, Wendy, and myself) get together – it’s like a food eating contest – Asia edition. DON’T ask cuz I really don’t know how such little people can eat so much but I think our gluttonous energy is strengthened when we’re all together. Outfit #1: Jean/Leather jacket – A. Wang, Sleeveless Hoodie – H&M, White graphic tee – Givenchy, Leggings – Best ever Topshop, Boots – Camilla Skovgaard, Fringe bag – Yigal Azrouel
Last week was a different week from the norm of traveling to metropolitan cities or putting in work at the office. The MT crew and our friends at The Social Trust packed up and headed for the island of Kauai for the 2011 campaign shoot for Mosley Tribes. Kauai is a small Hawaii island farthest west of all the other main islands. The remote island with minimal tourism was truly a visually mind blowing experience not crowded by big money franchise resorts and shopping. Instead the crew shacked up like family in a plantation house off the water and explored the sites less captured by your average vacationers. It’s not everyday you get to embrace nature like that living in LA so I took every moment in. Black tank: Cheap Monday / Red Bandeau Bikini: Brette Sandler Bikini from Shopbop.com / Denim cuffed shorts : Textile by Elizabeth and James / Sandals: H&M “Fashion Against Aids” / Leather Fanny Pack w/ Leg Strap: Bottega Veneta / Gold Aviator Shades: Mosley Tribes “Raynes” / Watch: Bell and Ross |
